Do you feel there’s something missing from your life?  Do you feel a vague sense of unease, a sense that no matter how hard you work, how much money you have or what you’ve achieved, that there is still a space within you that yearns for completion or fulfilment?

Many people can identify with the the idea that they are (consciously or unconsciously) searching for something, and that they have a vague feeling that something is missing from their lives.

But what is that ‘something’?  What is missing? Why do so many of us feel unfulfilled or that we haven’t quite got it right yet when it comes to living our lives?

Often we seek to fill that inner void with people, work and activity.  But for many spiritual seekers, even close relationships can disappoint and fail to soothe that feeling of being somehow incomplete.

I believe that what is really missing from people’s lives is the connection with our own Soul, our Spirit.  This other, eternal part of us has always existed, but has seemed to be distant and unreachable, until now.

 You Are More Than Human, You Are Spirit Also

Perhaps you already have an understanding of this?  If you are familiar and comfortable with the concept of past lives then you already know that you may have lived many lifetimes on Earth before this one.

However, this lifetime is special.  This is the time of awakening to the remembrance that you are more than Human, you are Spirit also.

So, if you have made the choice, again and again, to come to Earth, to become human and live and experience many human lifetimes, who is the You that makes that choice?

There is a part of you that is not human, a part that does not totally immerse itself in living each human lifetime.  That part of you seems to remain separate and distinct from your human self.

It is your Spirit, your Consciousness.

You are a consciousness-being who has chosen to have multiple experiences of learning and growth through living in human bodies and being immersed in physical human realities.

Your consciousness is eternal.  It has existed since Creation began.  While it might seem separate from your human self, that separation was an illusion that can now be overcome.

For the first time in our human history, it is now possible for all of us to reach through the veil of illusion and experience a loving reunion with our own Spirit, the ‘loved one’ that we have been missing for so long.

 The Pain of Separation from the Divine

For all of us, feeling separated from our true and Divine consciousness has been a major part of our existence on Earth.

The feeling of separation, of being alone and cut off from our Divine source and the knowledge of who we truly are, is the cause of much of the pain, conflict and suffering that all of us have endured as humans.

Consciousness is a lofty-sounding word, there are other names we can use for the eternal part of ourselves that you may find easier to relate to.  We could call it our Soul, our Spirit, our Divinity, our True Self, our Divine Self, or our Angel Within.

The separation was really an illusion.  Our Divinity has always been there, always connected and part of us.  It has just been waiting patiently for the right time, the time of Awakening.  And that time is Now.
